VEKTO FOR IPAD

The to-do app for iPad that shows your whole week on one board

Planning a week on a phone means scrolling one day at a time and losing the shape of it. On iPad you see the whole board at once, tie your to-dos to your goals, and plan in the space it needs.

The problem

A week is too big for a phone screen

It is Sunday evening. You open your list on your phone to see the week before it starts, and you scroll. One day, then the next, then back again. By the time you reach Friday you have lost Monday. The week never sits still long enough to plan, because you can only ever hold one day of it in view.

The iPad is the right size for this. It is the screen you already reach for to read and to think for a minute, without your inbox in the way. But most to-do apps hand you the phone layout on a bigger pane of glass. More empty space, the same single narrow column. The device is ready to show you the whole week. The app just never asks it to.

The shift

A to-do app for iPad, built for the iPad

Vekto is a real, native iPad app. Not a web page in a wrapper, not the phone screen stretched wide. It uses the space you have to lay the week out flat, so you can plan it, work it, and look back on it. That is the whole loop: Plan. Execute. Reflect.

Plan the week where you can see it. Execute a day at a time, checking things off as you go. Reflect at the end, on the goal or the week, while it is still fresh. And because one Vekto account carries your data across iPhone, iPad and Mac, the week you shape on the iPad is on your phone too once you are back online. Each device keeps working on its own in the meantime, with signal or without.

How it works

01

The Week board, on a canvas that fits it

Today plus the next six days, side by side on one board. When the week changes, you move a to-do from Thursday to Monday and you can see both days while you do it. Give each item a priority tag, 01 Focus, 02 Important or 03 Normal, so the week has a shape and not just a length. Anything you did not finish yesterday rolls forward on its own, so nothing quietly falls off the bottom of the list.

02

Goals and reflection, with room to think

Open your goals beside your week: Week, Month, Quarter and Year, each with a priority and a progress bar. Link a to-do to a goal, and the thing you do on Tuesday is visibly part of something bigger. When a goal or a period closes, reflect on it right there, with a few lines of free text, a guiding question, or a simple 1 to 5 rating. The iPad is a good place to sit with that for a minute, which is exactly what a weekly review needs.

03

A calm surface for planning tomorrow, or closing the week

Plan tomorrow tonight without opening ten things. Type the way you would say it, "call Anna tomorrow at 2", and Vekto reads the day and time out of the sentence. Keep timeless project notes in Projects, held as "Small Notes" and kept apart from your dated to-dos, so the plan stays a plan and the reference material stays reference. Full dark mode and a set of accent colors let the page feel like yours to sit with.

04

Syncs with your iPhone and Mac, works offline

Vekto is local-first. It lives on the device, so it opens and works with no signal, on the train or on a plane. When you are back online it syncs your account data across your Apple devices through your Vekto account, not iCloud. Shape the week on the iPad, pick it up on your phone at the door, finish the day on your Mac. One account, and your data is the same on all three.

Why it fits

Less to hold in your head.

The week sits on the board where you can see it, so you stop rehearsing it in your mind. Vekto is built to keep less in your head, not to be a heavier system you have to feed.

Goals and reflection are built in, not bolted on.

Most planners stop at the list. Vekto connects your daily to-dos to Week, Month, Quarter and Year goals, and gives you a quiet place to reflect when each one closes. The iPad is where that thinking actually happens.

Apple-native, and your data stays yours.

Real per-platform code on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Export a readable Markdown document or a full versioned JSON backup whenever you like. Nothing is locked in, and leaving is always a plain file away.

Good to know

Is this just the iPhone app on a bigger screen?

No. Vekto is a native iPad app with its own layout. The Week board uses the extra width to show today plus the next six days at once, and you can keep your goals in view beside your list. It is built to plan on, not padded out to fill the glass.

I already use Reminders or Notes. Why move to an iPad planner app?

Reminders is good at single reminders, and Notes is good at loose text. Neither shows you the week as a board, ties a to-do to a goal, or gives you a place to reflect when a goal closes. If a flat list is enough for you, keep it. Vekto is for when you want to see the whole week and connect it to what matters.

What does it cost, and do I need to enter a card to try it?

The trial is 14 days with no payment details up front. After that it is €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year. There is also a one-time Founder Lifetime at €69.99 for the first 250 buyers. You decide once you have used it, not before.

Does it work without Wi-Fi, and will my iPhone and Mac stay in step?

Yes to both. Vekto is local-first, so it works fully offline on your iPad. When you are back online it syncs your account data across your iPhone, iPad and Mac through your Vekto account. Each device keeps working on its own in the meantime.

A week is easier to plan when you can see all of it.

That is what the iPad is the right size for, and what Vekto is built to do: the Week board on a real canvas, your goals beside it, a quiet place to reflect, and everything in step with your iPhone and Mac once you are online.
